At the beginning of the year I became very good friends with many of the seniors because of cheerleading and dating a senior. I thought the senior class was such a good senior class at first and were pretty inclusive. I still remember at the end of cheer season thinking about the end of the year and being sad because I didn’t want to become a senior, because I would mis the seniors so much and I liked junior year. Now that it’s the end of this year I am soo ready for this year to be over. The seniors are so ready to leave and have become very exclusive and into being seniors. I have gotten sick of junior year and I can’t wait for this summer too. Class of 2011 is so ready to be seniors! I hope we are a good senior class!!
Black out dance Drama May 3, 2010
The first drama about if the juniors were going to wear black or mess up the theme to begin with ws stupid. Most of the juniors were joking and the ones that werent needed to think about the seniors and respect them. The seniors didnt need to freek out about it though.
I am actually glad that the neon dress for the seniors worked out i think thats fun that they got to do something to make them stand out on their last school dance.
At the dance though i thought some unfair things occurred, and because of this most of the juniors didn’t want to stay and many of us left. Even though we didn’t stay at the dance for long it was still such a fun night. I stayed at the lows house and was up till 3 or 4 am just talking and laughing and eating with friends!!
Cheerleading web page April 23, 2010
I am going to make my web page proj on the cheerleading team. I will do a homepage with basic information about the team. The next page will be about tryouts (what we do, what your judged on, and the clinics). The next page will be about our summer NCA camp at UCLA, and the last page will be a fun page on homecoming week. I think this web site could actually be used for those girls tryout for the team this year for the first time. I’m very excited to make this web site!

We have a new project that we are about to start. We have to find someone to make a web page for. We are going to have to talk with them and make the web site the way they would want it.I think this project will be fun but harder because we aren’t the ones in control of the layout and how it looks. I still don’t know who I will ask to be the person who I make a web site for. I have thought about making a page for my best friend Kimberlee and talk about random stuff about her, or my good friend dots and talk about all her art work, her cheerleading, out side of school activities, and her big scholarship to USC. I have also thought about making one for the esd cheerleading team because try outs are coming up.

this week everyone has been rushing to ask to prom because our RSVPs were due on wednesday. I think every thing is finally coming together even though it is last min. I asked one of my really good friends Wiley and im so excited to go with him.
We have about 6 more weeks of school left and I’m going crazy. Right now should be when i am working the hardest but I’m so sick of school that i have stopped caring. I’m getting so excited for summer and all the end of the year events. April and May have so much going on that its hard to keep up but its also very fun.
Pirates movie Steve Jobs or Bill Gates? April 9, 2010
If I was to work for either Steve Jobs or Bill gates based on the characters in the movie I would want to work for bill gates. Both Bill Gates and Steve Jobs have been portrayed as selfish people who don’t always think about other people’s feeling and they are both in it every man for himself to reach the top.
In the movie though we see Steve Jobs being much harsher to his employees and is not even a good friend to the people who have been with him since the beginning. He keeps his employees working all the time and gets mad at them when they are not creating something good enough, when he himself doesn’t ever add anything to the technology. Steve Jobs is the business mind in the company not the information mind. He was able to be a good speaker and negotiator to get the company going, but he never contributed to the actual product of apple. Bill Gates on the other hand was the mind behind his computer programming as well as leading the company.
Although Bill Gates lies to Jobs about stealing apples ideas, he is a manipulator not a fake person. Steve Jobs though, acts like someone he is not. He is harsh to his employees and his friends and very selfish, and doesn’t care about other’s feelings. He turns his company against its self for competition. But he then throws big parties and events for his employees acting like he is a generous person who cares about his company like a family.
Though Steve Jobs relationship with his ex girl friend and his daughter would not affect me as an employee, I still do not like that aspect of him as a person. He abandons them both and isn’t a part of his child’s life. I am very interested in social work and family relationships so to me someone who abandons a child is one of the most selfish people.
Bill Gates is nowhere close to being perfect either, he is all about his work and making it to the top, but I don’t think he treats his friends and family badly. I don’t think I could work for someone who was that inconsiderate of others feelings the way Steve Jobs is in the movie.
Prom Theme March 29, 2010
Prom theme was announced on Thursday. The theme is Arabian nights. I really wanted it to be wonderland, but I think Arabian nights will be really cool. I didn’t think the announcement was very cool though, I got a little bored. Prom is April 17, so it is coming up soon. I’m excited to see all the fun ways the guys come up with on how to ask people.
Tables March 26, 2010
We started working on tables this week in my web class. We learned how to make different rows and columns. We also learned how to make our tables bigger or smaller and different ways we can space out the cells. I liked making tables, but I think they are hard sometimes because when you add rows because your adding more topics and information as you go, then you have to go back and change some of your tags accordingly which can get confusing. I think it’s a cool idea to make a web page one big table because it lays the page out well.
Spring Break March 23, 2010
Over spring break i went back to my home town Greenville SC. I hadn’t been back in a year and half but I had seen my two best friends at my beach but no one else. It was really fun to see my closer friends but a little weird to see other people who im not really friends with. I got sick the Friday that SB started which was no fun, so I didn’t feel well most of the break. I also went and visited colleges. I was so glad to be home. I don’t really like going out-of-town I’d always rather stay in Dallas than leaving town.
Almost Done March 11, 2010
Two more days and counting.This week has been crazy with all the school work. The junior teachers have put so much work on us. I think everyone is really needing a break. I can’t believe that Q3 is almost over. It’s weird to think about that I only have a little more than a year left in high school. Even though I’m so sick of junior year and can’t wait to be a senior, it’s still scary. The other day in chapel father Butler started talking about how the school year was almost over, and that soon we would have our ring ceremony, and our senior shirt day. When he said that, my best friend and I just looked at each other shocked because we hadn’t thought about how we really are almost done.
